Wild Wednesday: Bird Banding

Wild Wednesday is an event for the entire family! Join us in discovering the different aspects of science and our natural world. Participants will be given a journal to fill out through the summer documenting their discoveries each week. Most events will include a take home activity, and prizes for milestones earned throughout the summer.
May 25th: Join our resident Lakeside Lab ornithologist and learn how we monitor and identify wildlife, specifically birds! Bird banding allows us to capture and mark birds for observation.
