Come out to Lakeside on September 6 for a sweet time!
Join us in person for to meet our local beekeepers for Lakeside Lab’s September Science on the Menu! Brian Jack, Doug Zemler, and Tim Olsen from the Northwest Iowa Beekeepers Association will be leading a conversation on beekeeping, honey production, and what we can do to improve pollinator habitat in our own backyards.
The evening’s catering is provided by Permacopia, and includes:
– Bolognaise rigatoni (with an option for gluten free noodles)
– Stuffed zucchini al gratin
– Fresh garden salad with a sweet mustard vinaigrette
– Garlic lemon alfredo (for our vegetarians!)
Beer has been generously provided by West O Beer, and cocktail hour will feature a variety of wine options. To celebrate our sweet new friendship with the beekeepers, we’ll be offering Gold Rush cocktails.
The evening begins at 5pm with a catered cocktail hour, with dinner served at 6pm. Tickets are $30 and support Lakeside Lab’s educational mission and community programs.
