Join us for another Science on the Menu event as our speakers dive — literally — into the hidden underwater world of the Iowa Great Lakes. This month’s program brings science, history, ecology, and community together at Iowa Lakeside Lab, offering families, residents, and visitors a chance to learn about SCUBA videography.

Enjoy an evening of science, conversation, and seasonal food and drink at Lakeside Lab’s annual Science on the Menu lecture series. We are pleased to host Tim Hilbert and his longtime dive partner Dave Ruzicka, who together have spent years documenting the submerged landscapes, structures, and wildlife beneath the surface of West Okoboji. Their work reveals a side of the lake most people never get to see.
Beer has been generously provided by West O Beer, and cocktail hour will feature a variety of wine options.

The evening begins at 5pm with a catered cocktail hour, with dinner served at 6pm. Tickets are $35 and support Lakeside Lab’s educational mission and community programs.
